We will accelerate the cross-border investigative reporting with “Asian Dispatch” members! / Let’s pursue the Asian original stories
2024.07.16 15:44 Tansa
“Asian Dispatch”, an Asian investigative network was formed in April 2024, and Tansa joined it as a starting member. We are the only member from Japan. In addition to us, 18 other media organizations are members from Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka.
With those members from Asian Dispatch, we will work closely on the social problems happening across the border.
Asian Dispatch mostly focuses on these 4 points:
① Investigative Journalism
② Diverse and unique Asian stories and experiences that can compete with the global media industry
③ Digital Journalism
④ Cross-border collaborations to speak up for the victims, not for national interests
Since its inception, Tansa has focused on international collaborative reporting. With the addition of Asian Dispatch, we will continue to accelerate that.
